Welcome to the Lighthouse International Ministries - Kenya Website.
Ours is a Mission focused, and Evangelistic Ministry based in Kenya, Africa and aimed towards networking with other Ministries, Volunteers, other Partner Organizations, Friends, etc., worldwide, in order to Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and help the Poor, both in the Urban and Rural places. We are out to join with other Partners and Friends, with the love of Christ, towards building the Kingdom of God, with key enhancement of Evangelism, Church planting, Pastoral Trainings, Orphan/Street Child Care, Prison Outreach, and Community Development, with a focus on Women Rehab Activities. We're also out to enhance Humanitarian Aid support Activities e.g. Offering Donations, and Health Care Services to Victims of Current or Post Political War Crisis, Droughts, and Floods in Kenya, and especially putting in mind that so many People have died (about 1,000) and over 300,000 displaced due to the Political Crisis that has once faced Kenya.
Note that we have been legally registered, and allowed to operate in Kenya, starting on February 11, 2008, and we have been given a Certificate of Registration Number 24866 on this same date, by the Registrar of Societies, under Section 10 of the Societies Act, within the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, mandating us to implement all the stated Activities. We hence welcome both Individuals, Groups, Organizations etc., who may be Interested to either just Partner, Affiliate us, Volunteer, Work or Assist us in this Vision so as together we may achieve the Planned goals. -Amen.
Why Lighthouse?
Jesus Christ, in John 8:12, said that “He is the Light of the World” He came to bring the same Light in the World; by accomplishing the Ministry that the Father had purposed. Through Him, the sinners were forgiven, the sick were healed, the lame walked, the hungry were fed and the dead were raised. This indicated the power and glory that Jesus had, even before the creation of the world, and which God the Father sent Him to show to human kind in the world. Yes, the Kingdom of God had come and people were to accept and live in, but little did they see!
This is a Ministry that is out therefore, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Lost, urging humankind to live in Light and in the Kingdom of God, so that their lost glory could be re-stored. We shall preach the Gospel, bring Mercy to where is needed, Pray for the sick, train others for perfecting the Church, plant and build Churches, call people to repent after they have known and have accepted Christ as born again believers, baptize them in water, etc.
Our Mission
To take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all Nations of the World, starting in Kenya; with reference to the Great Commission in Mt 28/18 – 20 i.e. "All Power has been given to me in Heaven and on Earth. Go therefore and make Disciples in all Nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to do all things that I’ve commanded you and behold, I am with you always even to the end of the World.”
Our Vision
